The phrase ‘Jack of all trades’ could have been invented for Michelle Oldale.
Carriages, convicts, computers and cardio are just some of the things that the Worksop resident has encountered throughout her colourful and varied career.
But Michelle couldn’t be further from ‘master of none’, as the adage usually concludes. Brave enough to follow her dreams, she is now her own master – and a very fit one at that.
Michelle runs her own personal training business – Michelle Oldale Personal Trainer. Although vastly different from her previous jobs as an IT contractor, a prison officer and a Network Rail employee, Michelle’s career now combines her desire to keep busy and her passion for fitness – and her contentment is clear to see.
“I did a lot running myself when I was younger – I used to run around the block when I was just seven or eight,” she said. “I just love the buzz and the feeling of health and wellbeing. I always wanted to do something with fitness but it was a matter of finding that opportunity and having the money to do it.”
